Max (10yrs) runs into a fast food restaurant to go potty and comes out with a "Sugar free doctor Pepper." He says it was free. The unhealthy item was confiscated and disposed of. Benefit of the doubt given.
Hours later we go into another fast food restaurant. He comes around the corner drinking a bottle of orange juice. Now I'm certain of his mischief. I go up to the register- wallet and an apology ready. "Yes, we gave it to him." says the nice man. "He can have it."
Max explained later that all he had to do was ask: "Do you have anything free?"
